Instructional Coach (District-Wide)Position
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum (or designee)
JOB SUMMARY: The Instructional Coach will support teachers in enhancing instructional practices, curriculum delivery, and student learning outcomes across K-12 classrooms.Working collaboratively with teachers and administrators, the Instructional Coach
will provide on-site coaching, professional development, and facilitate data-driven
instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Instructional Support:
- Collaborate with teachers to design, implement, and refine instructional practices that align with
- Provide individualized and group coaching, modeling lessons, and co-teaching as needed.
- Assist teachers in creating engaging, inclusive, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs
learners.
- Professional Development:
- Plan and facilitate high-quality professional development sessions for teachers, administrators,
- Stay current with research-based instructional practices and integrate them into school-wide
- Curriculum and Assessment:
- Work with curriculum coordinators and subject matter experts to ensure curriculum alignment
- Assist teachers in using formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction and
- Support teachers in the effective use of instructional technology and other resources to enhance
- Data-Driven Instruction:
- Collaborate with teachers to analyze student performance data and develop action plans to
- Support teachers in setting goals, tracking student progress, and adjusting instruction based on

- Serve as a liaison between teachers, administrators, and district leadership to ensure
- Participate in instructional leadership team meetings and contribute to district-wide instructional

- Identify, develop, and share resources and materials that support teachers in delivering high-

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid NJDOE Instructional Certification required; instructional coaching certification preferred.
- Master’s degree in education, curriculum, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in a Pre K-12 setting. Experience in
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to teachers.
- Proficiency in instructional technology tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform in the areas of responsibility included in the job description
- Required criminal history background check and eligibility to work in the United States
