Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator will play a key supporting role in GOSH Enterprises' supply chain operations by assisting the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) in overseeing inventory levels across our distribution network and helping ensure timely, accurate stock availability.This position will work closely with franchise partners, distribution centers, and internal teams to answer inventory inquiries, address issues, and support day-to-day inventory management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Monitoring & Reporting
- Regularly review and track inventory levels across distribution partners to ensure they align with demand and supply chain needs.
- Assist in identifying inventory imbalances, including overstock or stockouts, and collaborate with the SCM to resolve discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of inventory reports and provide insights into trends, shortages, and potential areas for improvement.
- Communication & Coordination
- Act as a point of contact for franchise partners and internal operations teams for inventory-related inquiries.
- Respond to inquiries promptly, providing accurate information regarding stock availability, order status, and inventory movements.
- Ensure clear communication between internal teams (including Operations, Marketing and Culinary) and external distribution partners to address inventory needs.
- Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Work closely with SCM and distribution partners to ensure timely delivery of stock and to address any disruptions in inventory flow.
- Assist with resolving inventory issues & supply chain challenges, ensuring that inventory levels remain consistent with business needs.
- Documentation & Inventory System Support
- Support the SCM in updating inventory documentation, including stock reports, item spec sheets, contact lists, and other related records.
- Assist in the review and monitoring of inventory data in enterprise resource planning (ERP) via Arrowstream.
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a related role, ideally in the foodservice or restaurant industry.
- Experience working with distribution partners or franchise networks is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting.
