Customer Service Representative

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative, based in Shakopee, Minnesota. Operating within the construction industry, this role involves handling customer order processing and data entry operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer orders
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, whether face-to-face, through phone or via email
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed
• Deliver the highest level of customer service, exceeding customer expectations
• Maintain a proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks
• Collaborate effectively with internal staff at all levels
• Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Utilize basic office skills to enhance service delivery
• Be comfortable interacting with customers at all levels. • Proficiency in basic office skills including typing, filing, and phone etiquette.
• Experience in a customer service role, ideally within a similar industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively handle customer inquiries.
• Ability to multitask, managing multiple customer queries and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions for customer issues.
• Fluency in using basic computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to work in a team, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills for managing customer information and follow-ups.
• Patience and empathy to understand and address customer needs and complaints.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
