job summary:

Permanent Position: Tool Design Engineer with Cold Forming experience is needed in Marshall, NC. Relocation assistance is available. The ideal candidate will experience designing cold forming or cold heading tooling and die designs using Solidworks, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor.

AS or BS in Engineering
5+ years of experience in tooling design with 2D and 3D CAD software
Must have cold-forming experience
Experience with tooling and processing on the following equipment: Nakishmada, Sacamura, Waflos, National, Carlo Salvi single Die, and multi-die progressive formers

responsibilities:

Designs tooling and dies for cold forming or cold heading tooling
Creates tooling design details, cold forming simulations, and new die/tooling techniques.
Researches new tooling and machine technologies
Conducts new product development projects for new alloy formulation, materials processing, and innovation.
Assists with manufacturing problems related to materials and processing.
Provides technical training for field sales teams
