Responsibilities:
We have an immediate opening for a Plumbing Designer to join our SF office.- The ideal candidate will develop engineering design documentation under the supervision of an assigned engineer;
- Create construction models in AutoCAD and Revit;
- Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
- Work from both customer and firm drawings;
- Perform file management functions such as posting models, downloading model updates, and managing links;
- CAD and Revit drafting;
- Provide technical support for existing projects and field service;
- Attend and participate in project meetings, communicating with other trades, and creating/extracting reports, as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or a 2 year technical or associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Construction Technology, Mechanical Technology, or similar;
- EIT certification, or interest in obtaining;
- Demonstrate knowledge or interest on MEP systems and their installation, with an emphasis on mechanical and plumbing installations preferred;
- Developing knowledge of mechanical system design;
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD;
- Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
- Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
Base Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
