We have a client currently seeking experienced candidates for a Diesel Mechanic position. Primary duties include performing diagnotic tests on diesel vehicles and equipment to find faults, analyzing results and reparing/replacing engines, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.

Qualified mechanics need to be highly organized and have the ability to communicate effectively as well as expected to maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles and interact with employees on a daily basis. Click to Apply now!

salary: $27 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagonose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.
Perform DOT inspections
Other job duties as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
