Senior Human Resources Generalist
Our client is a well-established specialized service provider headquartered in Boulder, CO seeking a high potential Human Resources (HR) Generalist. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual at the generalist level seeking his or her first HR Business Partner or a structured growth path to an HR Manager position in the next few years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, serving as a key point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related issues.
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with company HR policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with managers and leadership to provide guidance on performance management and employee development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and offboarding processes as needed.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, including record-keeping and maintaining accurate employee files.
- Utilize HRIS systems (UKG preferred) to manage employee data, reporting, and analytics.
- Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Provide strong support in managing payroll-related tasks and HR documentation.
Work Environment:
- Fully in office with some flexibility to work from home when needed
- Company size (small to mid): - experience in a 50-person sized organization

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of current experience in a human resources position.
- Solid knowledge of HR laws, policies, and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with HRIS systems (UKG or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
