Desktop Support Analyst

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in New York. The role involves providing Level 2 support in a telecommunications industry, with a focus on office suite and document management. The individual will assist in setting up and supporting video conferencing meetings, and will be heavily involved in email communication.

• Provide Level 2 support for various software including Office 365, Outlook, Adobe, and Netdocuments.
• Set up and support video conferencing meetings.
• Respond promptly to emails and ensure all inquiries are addressed.
• Utilize Microsoft and other computer hardware tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Apply knowledge of configuration management to maintain system stability.
• Provide deskside support to personnel to ensure seamless operations.
• Utilize skills in MS Office 365, Comptia A+, and Comptia Security+ to improve system functionality.
• Stay updated and adaptable with tech advancements to ensure effective support.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other personnel. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft and MS Office 365
• Expertise in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
• Experience in Deskside Support
• Certification in Comptia A+ and Comptia Security+ is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist and guide users
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
