About our Inspection Facility
A premier experience begins with a great product, and the team members at our Elkhart A premier experience begins with a great product, and the team members at our Elkhart Inspection Facility play a crucial role in our operations. Located in Bristol and just minutes away from the RV/MH Hall of Fame, our Inspection Facility serves as a check point where new units are received from manufacturers to undergo inspection and rigorous testing before continuing on to General RV dealerships.
SUMMARY
The Warranty Technicians' essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, servicing warranty units as they pass through the GTE Warranty Department. The roles will lead on adjustments, minor and major repairs, and warranty complaint recording.
Responsibilities:
- RV adjustments, repairs, and recording of issues with iPad
- Enter Cause and Correction, making sure to tell the complete story of the fix
- Enter Special Order Parts into our onsite system CAMP
- Ability to clearly explain technical issues to manufacturers and how the issue can be repaired
- Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality
- Analyze root causes of production-related issues and develop corrective action either individually or collaboratively
- Support organization as a functional backup to test and inspection roles
- Earn RVTI Level 1 certification at 90 days and RVTI Level 2 within a year.

- RVTI Certifications and/or RV Production experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient training skills
- IPad proficiency

- Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
