We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Stone Mountain, Georgia. As an Administrative Assistant, your role will involve a range of tasks including data entry, customer service, and managing inbound calls.

This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling and directing inbound calls, ensuring all customer queries are addressed effectively.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Accurately entering and updating information in the database.
  • Managing email correspondence, ensuring all communications are timely and detail oriented.
  • Preparing spreadsheets and reports, and submitting to the finance department.
  • Filing and organizing documents to maintain an efficient and accessible filing system.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinating with vendors as required, maintaining open and effective communication.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Ensuring all tasks and operations comply with the organization's standards and procedures.
  • Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls efficiently.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Accuracy and speed in data entry tasks, ensuring the integrity and reliability of data.
  • Pivot Tables and Lookup experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Capable of scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, and managing meeting logistics.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with the non-profit sector will be considered a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
