We are in search of a Litigation Legal Secretary to join our wonderful client in Irvine, CA! This candidate will assist in e-filing, calendaring, drafting, and assisting with a heavy litigation desk.
Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently process and manage legal documents.
- Utilize legal software applications such as CompuLaw, PACER, and Netdocs to perform tasks effectively.
- Support senior attorneys in preparing for trials and depositions.
- Utilize Adobe Acrobat software for PDF document management and editing tasks.
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines, ensuring no conflicts and efficient time management.
- Handle e-filing tasks for both State and Federal court cases.
- Support the managing partner and senior attorneys in their day-to-day tasks.
- Familiarity with e-Filing and Calendaring
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare legal documents and conduct legal research
- Familiarity with court rules and procedures.
- Experience within civil litigation, plus for construction surety!
