Controller

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Medina, Ohio. The role focuses on various aspects of financial management, including the preparation of reports, analysis of financial trends, and collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for management.
• Analyze financial results, identify key drivers and adjustments, and communicate them to various stakeholders.
• Assess and report on cost trends and gross margin results.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual financial plans and monthly financial outlooks.
• Work closely with management to understand business conditions and drive forecast ownership and accountability.
• Implement and train others on accounting requirements and finance process improvements.
• Collaborate with corporate functional departments on various matters such as legal issues, ERP systems, and treasury management.
• Design and implement improvements in financial processes to align with continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Participate in projects related to cost reduction initiatives, manufacturing spend, and operational improvements.
• Optimize cash flow, establish inventory targets with purchasing teams, coordinate accounts receivable activities, and approve capital requests. • Must be proficient in 3M
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with CRM is a must
• Experience with Crystal Reports is necessary
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing is a must
• Knowledge of Budget Processes is required
