Customer Service Representative

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the manufacturing industry, based in Avenel, New Jersey. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with the responsibility of dealing with customer inquiries, managing order processing, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support customers as well as the sales team as part of a team dynamic.
• Accurately enter orders into the database.
• Direct orders to the appropriate facility.
• Liaise with external vendors for order placement when necessary.
• Collaborate with shipping companies for delivery arrangements.
• Generate invoices for orders once they are shipped or delivered.
• Handle purchase orders and receipt of goods for inventory.
• Keep a record of proof of deliveries (PODs) and bill of lading (BOL).
• Maintain order and shipping data in Excel spreadsheets.
• Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails.
• Update customer pricing in the database on a monthly basis.
• Regularly follow up on open orders.
• Perform any other assigned duties. • Proficiency in handling and answering inbound calls.
• Experience in Call Center Customer Service is necessary.
• Strong skills in providing excellent Customer Service.
• Must be adept at Data Entry tasks.
• Ability to manage Email Correspondence effectively.
• Capable of handling both Inbound and Outbound Calls.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word for document processing.
• Experience in Order Entry in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to Schedule Appointments efficiently and accurately.
