Position Overview: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This individual will work closely with the Construction Team to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery while maintaining budgetary constraints.

The role demands strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle daily construction activities, troubleshoot issues, and manage resources effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Construction Team to develop detailed project plans, including quality assurance, health and safety plans, and timelines.
  • Lead the execution of building construction projects while adhering to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Order construction materials in accordance with project timelines and ensure accurate quantities.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily construction activities, ensuring smooth project operations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the team as needed to ensure the timely flow of documentation and communication.
  • Foster collaboration within the team and ensure employee satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze construction challenges, offering prompt solutions and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining professional communication.
  • Monitor construction progress for potential delays and report them to the supervisor.
  • Identify and address any milestones or challenges in the construction process and propose preventive actions.
  • Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current on industry standards and trends.
  • Review and analyze Requests for Information (RFIs) and process any required change orders.
  • Generate and deliver regular progress and expense reports to senior management.
  • Establish, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial parameters.
  • Recommend cost-saving measures that do not compromise quality or productivity.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily construction activities in Procore or equivalent project management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including OSHA requirements. (Training will be provided for OSHA 30 certification if required.)

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role in construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and building codes.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to monitor and manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of construction professionals.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (training for OSHA 30 will be provided if necessary).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay Range: USD $38.46 - USD $64.90 /Hr.
