**SUMMARY:**
Count, reconcile, and record raw and finished goods materials inventory.
**MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:**- Assist with finished goods inventory reconciliation.
- Update product data as needed.
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks as may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- APICS Inventory Control or equivalent training preferred.
Experience:
- Preferred- One year of clerical experience in a material, purchasing, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or ability to be certified within 3 months of hire.
**People Management Responsibilities**
Must be able to work closely and cooperatively with other members of the production department, packaging, and purchasing, as well as various other departments.
**Signatory Authority**
Reports directly to the Distribution Manager but must be able to work independently and determine priorities.
**Physical requirements**
This position requires a high level of attention to detail. Accuracy is criticalin the performance of this position.
**Scope and Impact:**
Inventory control affects all areas of the order process from production to the customer. Inventory needs to be accounted for as errors in inventory potentially cause delays to the customer, excessive inventory costs, and inefficient production.
**Working Conditions:**- Must be able to meet company attendance standards.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work flexible hours on cycle counting days.
- Must be willing to work required overtime.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing plant and warehouse environment.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:**- Perform cycle counts on raw materials and finished good products.
- Reconcile counts and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
- Perform data entry procedures.
- Provide warehousing support as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal form.
