Job Details:
- Develop and maintain nursing practice through application of the facility’s philosophy, mission, and approved policies & procedures.
- Provide competent staff for all levels of resident care.
- Recruit and hire skilled nurses.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff nurses.
- Oversee nursing staff, patient satisfaction, and implementation of new policies.
- Communicate with families, residents, and physicians.
- Develop a business plan and budget for the nursing unit.
- Participate in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed.
Skills Required:
- 06-1 year of experience as a ADON or DON.
Required Certification/Licensing:
- RN license
- BLS by American Heart Association required.
