Tasks

As regional sales manager you are responsible for leading and directing the sales development in your area
  • Closely work with Sales Representatives, Lighting Designers, Distributors, and Specifiers to extend your network.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with all relevant companies, institutions, and people, paying attention to market needs.
  • Fully understand and confidently navigate the complexity of North America’s sales network.
  • Achieve sales budgets and quotas and grow profitable sales in the Region.
  • Identify and generate new opportunities and build the company brand.
  • Propose sales targets in the region based on verifiable market intelligence.
  • Confidently and knowledgeably present new products, highlighting their features and benefits.
  • Answer customer requests regarding products, pricing, and technical modifications and interact with the team for missing information.
  • Identify needs and opportunities, provide technical quotation support, and create lighting packages.
  • Attend product shows, larger national trade shows, and locally sponsored events.
  • Organize your travel in the most economical way, within company guidelines.
Requirements
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Your experience includes at least 3 years within the lighting industry as sales manager or lighting designer.
  • You bring a network of Sales Representatives, Lighting Designers, Distributors and Specifiers.
  • You have a proven track record in exterior or interior architectural lighting.
  • You have well developed communication skills and excellent writing skills related to technical products.
  • You have the ability to work remotely and manage all responsibilities.
  • For your business travels you have a driving licence
  • Nice to have: Ability to conduct product training to Sales Representatives.
  • Nice to have: In-depth understanding of current LED technology, as well as electronic control systems, including wireless control system.
  • Nice to have: Experience and understanding of the European-designed specification grade architectural outdoor lighting market.
  • Nice to have: advanced level user of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with CRM software
  • Nice to have: fluent language skills in Spanish.
