Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an SE-2 Cyber Test and Evaluation Complex (CTEC) System Administrator for the TMAS 2 96 CTG Task Order, supporting the 48 CTS / TGED, Command Control Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Agile Test Flight.

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FLJOB STATUS: FT
TRAVEL: 30%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution and/or have a personal Information Technology professional certification. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Active Secret clearance – U.S. Citizenship is required. Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain operating systems.
- Experience setting up and maintaining user accounts and access controls.
- Demonstrated experience implementing monitoring tools and proactively identifying and resolving system issues.
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and adept at quickly identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Experience developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Demonstrated experience using various scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience implementing centralized logging and analysis for system and application logs
- Experience managing security measures, including implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience maintaining up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team to support development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Ability to assist with the hardening of systems to conform with all applicable regulations from DoD and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This includes but is not limited to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
- Direct experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience configuring virtual machines using VMWare or other hypervisor-based systems
- Experience creating bootable hard drive images
- Experience with managing network devices such as laptops
- Experience creating, configuring, and running Docker container images
- Experience with container orchestration using tools such as Kubernetes
- Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
- Experience running security scans such as port and software scans
- Preparing and tracking Test Assets
- Working with Testers to support ongoing test events
- Facilitating Baseline change requests
- Maintaining and Securing Test images
- Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
- Providing good customer service
- Working with security personnel to maintain system accreditation
