Home Care Aide - 12-Hour Shifts (Sundays & Mondays)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a male client in the UTC area of La Jolla, near UCSD. This role is for 12-hour shifts on Sundays and Mondays. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging in conversation, walking, and driving the client to appointments.

The client has a large, friendly dog, so comfort with pets is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding if necessary.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional health.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Requirements

Cell phone with internet access
Strong organizational & communication skills
Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
Comfortable with pets and able to interact with a large, friendly dog.
Ability to drive the client to appointments (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).

Proof of Negative TB results
