Sr. Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Boca Raton, Florida. As part of our team, your role will involve a range of tasks, primarily focusing on financial operations within the commercial real estate investment industry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all accounting procedures comply with regulations and laws
- Undertaking balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Conducting account reconciliation to identify discrepancies
- Developing and maintaining the general ledger system
- Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
- Overseeing month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Proficiently utilizing NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and MRI software for various accounting tasks
- Continuously improving knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations.
- Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
- Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
- Must have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with General Ledger
- Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Experience in Month End Close processes is required
- Must have hands-on experience with NetSuite
- Proficiency in using Oracle software is necessary
- SAP knowledge and experience is required
- Experience with MRI is a plus
- Proficiency in using MRI Software is highly desirable
