We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data & Analytics to lead and manage service delivery at Verinext. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling our data and analytics service offerings, ensuring high-quality delivery for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data strategy, analytics solutions, service delivery management, and client success, with the ability to align technical capabilities with business goals.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data architects, data engineers, analysts, and consultants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, and engineering) to align data solutions with overall business objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and leverage hybrid delivery models to ensure client satisfaction and success

Service Delivery Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics services to multiple clients, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Define and implement service delivery frameworks, SLAs, and best practices to optimize performance and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure alignment between the organization’s data solutions and clients' business needs, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.

Client Engagement & Account Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to develop data strategies and roadmaps that align with their long-term goals.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding existing accounts through additional service offerings and innovative solutions.

Data Strategy & Solutions:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data and analytics solutions (BI, AI/ML, data engineering) tailored to client requirements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and thought leadership in analytics and consulting services.
  • Establish governance, processes, and tools to maintain data quality, integrity, and security across all projects.

Financial & Operational Management:

  • Own the P&L for the data and analytics service line, driving revenue growth and maintaining profitability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure optimal staffing and delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent career experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or IT services, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale data projects and delivering complex analytics solutions.
  • Expertise in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R) and data technologies (cloud platforms, ETL, data lakes).
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and security best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with experience working directly with executive-level clients.
  • Experience managing P&L and achieving business growth targets in a consulting or service environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AI/ML solution delivery and advanced analytics frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
