Phoenix - Application Developer - Golang
Description:
CTG is seeking to fill a Golang Developer opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Location: Phoenix, AZDuration: 12 months
Duties:
- Develop, test, and deploy Java-based web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements for new software features.
- Design and implement back-end services and APIs, including the integration of front-end elements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java and Golang.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our applications.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and fix bugs and improve application functionality.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Golang, including frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and others.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with database management and SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Java and Web Technologies development.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale web applications.
- Experience with software development life cycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Golang and microservices architecture is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
