Overview:

Oversees the Internal Lightspeed Material and eCommerce product lines for the company, ensuring that these product lines meet internal and external needs, align with the company’s strategic goals, and deliver profitability. The role typically blends elements of product inventory, marketing, business strategy, and cross-functional coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic allocation of resources, balancing team capacity with project demands and ensuring optimal use of engineering and technical resources
  • Monitor product line performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margin, and market share
  • Communicate with senior leadership and external customers on product line status, key deliverables, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and building strong relationships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support process improvements, resource planning, and the development of new product lines.
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the product lines, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, internal and external needs, and competitive landscape to identify new inventory needs.
  • Work closely with the executive team to define and adjust the long-term vision and strategy for the product line.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to oversee product development.
  • Manage the product life cycle, including launch, updates, and phase-outs of products as needed.
  • Establish pricing strategies to optimize product profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving multiple projects to completion.
  • Experience with managing site metrics such as project delivery, quality, and throughput.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-precision manufacturing equipment, processes, and industry standards, particularly in medical device manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide the team towards operational excellence.
  • Ability to delegate effectively, balancing workload while maintaining oversight of critical tasks and projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external customers.
  • Ability to manage and improve key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Compensation:

Comp Range-$96,000-$125,000
