Overview:

The Market Development Manager will lead the strategic market development initiatives for the iMRI division and manage customer success efforts to ensure adoption and satisfaction. This role will involve direct engagement with key stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts, and the development of educational programs to support successful iMRI implementation.

The MDM will oversee both pre-launch market preparation and post-launch customer support to maximize market share, ensure successful product adoption, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Market Development:

o Develop and execute market strategic initiatives in collaboration with leadership to build market share for iMRI solutions.

o Identify and develop relationships with SMEs to drive adoption and establish Cook Medical’s thought leadership in the iMRI space.
o Lead and manage educational initiatives, including courses, training programs, product launch events, and clinical support materials.
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall market objectives.
o Organize and lead advisory boards to gather feedback on product usage and potential enhancements.
o Establish and measure KPIs for market uptake, customer satisfaction, and training program success.
  • Customer Success and Support:

o Lead customer success efforts to ensure effective post-launch support and ongoing customer satisfaction.

o Develop and implement training and support programs to ensure customers can effectively use the iMRI solutions.
o Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring customer feedback informs product development and future updates.
o Track and manage post-launch performance metrics to ensure long-term success and customer retention.

o Proactively address customer concerns and work to resolve issues in collaboration with product and technical support teams.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in market development, customer success, or a similar field within the medical device industry.
  • Strong product and procedural knowledge, with experience in technology commercialization and customer engagement.
  • Experience leading educational or training programs within a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including SMEs, clinicians, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic business and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in customer success or market development, particularly in medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet market objectives and drive product adoption.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Ability to travel up to 30-50%, including domestic and international travel.
  • General office conditions and remote work flexibility.
