Part Time Office Assistant

Our client, a private school located in Culver City, is looking for a part time Office Assistant to work Monday through Friday from 9-1. For the right candidate, they will eventually be hired by the client. This school has roughly 160 employees and you will help with various clerical duties.

You will interact with students and parents and strong customer service skills are a must. Duties include scanning, data entry, filing, organizing, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
  • Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and organizing.
  • Interact with students and parents, providing excellent customer service.
  • Help with various clerical tasks as needed.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the office by maintaining efficient systems and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and support other staff with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company records and information.
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed.
  • Ensure office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Proven experience in receptionist duties or similar administrative roles
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Flexibility to work in a part-time schedule
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
