Accounting Clerk

One of our clients is looking for a part time accounting clerk for a part time contract to permanent placement opportunity.

This role is within the finance industry and your workplace will be a dynamic environment where you will handle a range of accounting tasks. As an Accounting Clerk, you will provide valuable support to our finance team by managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Process invoices in a timely manner to ensure smooth financial operations
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting
• Operate QuickBooks for financial transactions and record keeping
• Maintain accurate financial records for auditing purposes
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Use your university degree knowledge to adhere to accounting principles and standards.
• Possession of a University Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
