Payroll Specialist

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the tech industry, located in Newport Beach, California. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of payroll operations, using their expertise in payroll systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a substantial number of employees
• Utilize the UKG Software to manage and streamline payroll processes
• Handle payroll responsibilities across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations
• Use the Kronos Timekeeping System effectively to track and manage employee hours
• Manage payroll for a large workforce, over 500 employees, ensuring all are paid accurately and on time
• Maintain open lines of communication to resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues
• Monitor employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
• Take appropriate action on any issues related to customer accounts, resolving them in a timely manner.
• Experience in handling Payroll for over 500 employees is required
• Proficiency in using UKG Pro software will be a significant advantage
• The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and best practices is necessary
• The candidate must have proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Candidates must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• The candidate is expected to have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required
