Consumables Sales Representative (Biopharma) - ref. t461503
You will visit Customer sites, attend trade shows, and stay current in the industry through networking, meetings, and reading related industry information. You will be responsible for providing high Customer satisfaction, establishing multi-level relationships with Customers, and utilizing company provided sales resources.
You are tasked with maximizing sales outcomes while providing best solutions to the Customer.
This is a remote based Customer facing position. To support and service our Customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following state: California
What you will do as a Sales Representative
Present, promote, and sell STERIS Life Science Consumable products to existing and prospective customers.Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and Customer relationships.
Generate leads and qualify prospects.
Expedite the resolution of Customer problems and complaints to maximize Customer satisfaction.
Achieve sales targets and results within targeted time frame.
Coordinate sales effort with team members to advance business growth.
Analyze the territory/market potential and evaluate sales reports on a routine basis.
Update and maintain sales tools regarding territory business and competitive activities as well as potential for new products.
Keep informed of best practices and industry trends including participation trade shows.
Negotiate to achieve agreements that provide a mutually acceptable solution to STERIS and the Customer.
The Experience, Skills & Abilities Needed
RequiredBachelor's degree
Ability to travel up to 35-40%
PreferredMinimum of three years of experience in the BioPharma industry highly preferred
Experience in validation, quality, technical services, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Experience with technical products/services
Experience in consultative selling
General knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology Manufacturing, and Medical Device industries
