We're hiring a Loan Boarding and Funding Supervisor to join our Loan Operations Team in Souderton. Please note, this position will become hybrid after the initial training period.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workflows; monitor turnaround time and adjust workloads for the Centralized Funding and Loan Boarding team.
Oversee and assist with the following core loan operations: verification of loan documents for booking, process funding requests for initial loan advances, process general ledger entries for fees, complete wire transfers, daily loan settlements and balance accounts as needed.
Oversee and assist with transaction processing of commercial participation loans, SWAP loans, warehouse lines, unused & evergreen letters of credit fees. This includes monitoring spreadsheets, creating invoices, fee transactions, and corresponding with lenders and customers as needed.
Accountable for interpreting and translating complex loan documents for loans to the Jack Henry Silverlake operating system, including RIF creation and maintenance input, AFT setup, FASB 91 fee and cost records.
As needed support of collateral item records input, setting up tracking for new liens and send items for recording as needed. Ensure collateral ownership is correct for each item within a relationship.
Perform file maintenance necessary to record loan extensions and modifications, including interest accruals and billing calculations for all loan types
Reply to all lender, customer and financial institution inquiries regarding servicing issues for commercial loans.
Supervise team, provide training on new policies and procedures to existing team and assist in training new team members
Prepare and maintain procedures to uphold bank policies, regulatory requirements and operations processes
Accountable for tracking, scanning, and verification of documents to the Synergy Imaging System
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or business helpful with a minimum of 3 years bank loan operations experience, or equivalent required related education and experience
Strong initiative skills and ability to train employees on policies and procedures
Advanced comprehension of mortgage, commercial, and consumer loans
Ability to read and comprehend complex loan contracts
Ability to perform loan accounting computations, including interest accruals, payment amortizations, billing calculations
Ability to read and comprehend consumer, commercial and mortgage documents; discern inconsistencies and errors; and follow-up with the required decision makers for resolution
Ability to work independently, prioritize and enter data quickly and accurately to meet deadlines, including end of month activity
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to think “outside the box” when unusual situations are presented
Advanced PC and word processing skills required to utilize varying proprietary Windows based software applications
Familiarity with Jack Henry, Salesforce and nCino preferred
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $35,300 to $61,300
