Summary:

A construction company in the petroleum industry is looking to hire a Foreman based out of Jacksonville, FL. This position will be responsible for overseeing commercial gas station projects. Duties include leading a construction crew, operating heavy equipment, installing sheet piling, underground tanks, fuel piping and dispensers, shooting grades, site layout and training laborers on all related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing a benchmark, laying out the tank hole according to petroleum drawings
• Installing shoring/dewatering systems
• Digging tank holes with excavator and setting tanks in the hole with assistance from crane operator
• Outfitting the tanks with tank sump bottoms, STP"s, Risers, and Fill/Vapor buckets according to grad as established on the petroleum drawings
• Establishing elevations for the piping trenches and layout piping trenches according to the petroleum drawings
• Installing underground piping systems with applicable fittings and Tank/Dispenser Sumps according to grade established on the petroleum drawings
• Reading blueprints/establishing elevations
• Leading a crew effectively by training, coaching, solving problems when identified
