Sr Data Analytics Specialist SME

Hybrid in Laurel, MD

12+ Month Contract

MUST HAVES:

1. Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and related processes.
2. Provide technical support to end-users for BI solutions.
3. Experience in designing and implementing data models for Oracle C2M applications, including an understanding of entities, relationships,
4. Experience in analyzing Oracle C2M application data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This includes proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from C2M tables and views.
5. Experience in writing SQL queries against Oracle C2M database and extracting data as per user requirements
6. Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and design reports and dashboards that meet their needs.
7. Manage, administer, and develop analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and BI Publisher. Provide support for BI infrastructure and work on reporting solutions.
8. Validate report output by cross-referencing it with data from the Oracle C2M system, identifying any data discrepancies or anomalies

• Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline; Master s degree is preferred; A Master s degree in one of the above disciplines equals one year specialized and two years of general experience
• 8 years of experience designing and implementing data solutions and dashboard development for Oracle C2M, P6 analytics at enterprise-level applications
• At least seven (7) years of experience in one or more functional areas related to the subject matter specialty
• At least five (5) years of hands on or analysis experience in the IT field directly related to the required area of expertise
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale data projects in diverse team environments with a focus on analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise systems
• Experience in designing and implementing data models for Oracle C2M applications, including an understanding of entities, relationships
• Experience in analyzing Oracle C2M application data to identify trends, patterns, and insights; This includes proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from C2M tables and views
• Experience in writing SQL queries against Oracle C2M database and extracting data as per user requirements
• Strong understanding of utility applications and billing systems, especially within Oracle utilities (C2M, CC and B)
