The ideal candidate will have gas processing, compressed natural gas (CNG), hydrogen, oil and gas, chemical, or other related process systems engineering experience with excellent communication skills.This role is responsible for providing technical support for pre-construction and project management, managing external engineering resources who are performing commercial / industrial engineering projects nationwide and who are technical experts in certain areas related to biogas projects.
The role will also manage engineering resources to support specific operational issues as assigned. Incumbent can reside anywhere in the continental United States with a manageable commute to a major commercial airport as this position will have overnight travel responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage engineering resources to support development, pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and operations phases.
Support Director of Preconstruction in preparation of initial Engineering Request for Proposal (RFP).
Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain consistent and thorough communication with key stakeholders (both internal and external).
Accountable for safety, scope, budget, and schedule of your projects.
Enforce and facilitate the management of project change process on your projects.
Review and approval of proposed changes and design change notices.
Projects will be a mix of the following:
Conversion of biogas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or biogas to Renewable Electricity.
Greenfield development, brownfield redevelopment, or distressed asset rehabilitation.
EPC or design bid build project delivery.
Oversee or directly perform the completion of:
Company documentation of engineering specifications and procedures
Periodic updates to companys engineering specifications
Engineering to support owner related permitting.
Contracting with consultants and engineering firms.
Negotiations and contractual agreements as required to provide necessary technical resources.
Providing engineering resources necessary to support utility interconnections (natural gas, power, water, sanitary, internet, etc.).
Qualifications and Skills:
Ten plus years of industrial scale engineering management experience.
Experience working on gas processing projects such as RNG, gas transmission and compression, gas treating, air separation, LNG, CNG, hydrogen, or related.
Four-year engineering degree from an accredited educational institution required. Chemical, mechanical, or petroleum, engineering degree preferred.
PMP certification preferred but not required.
