We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This fast-paced role will involve handling various aspects of account payable functions within a high volume processing environment.

You will be expected to manage vendor relationships, maintain accurate records, and utilize various software systems to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently monitor and manage an email inbox for invoice related communications
Accurately log and code invoices, ensuring proper account allocation
Utilize Excel for various functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and formulas
Operate Oracle and other accounting software systems for seamless workflow
Oversee high volume processing tasks and ensure timely completion
Conduct periodic auditing of accounts payable records for accuracy
Manage automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and other related processes
Maintain a robust understanding of accrual accounting principles
Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure smooth operations
Handle high volume call center tasks as needed
Perform other accounting functions as required. • Proficiency in Account Coding is required
Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is essential
Experience with ADP - Financial Services is expected
Proficiency in using Concur is needed
Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential
Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is expected
Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is needed
Prior experience in Auditing is necessary
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required
Proficiency in Excel Formulas is essential
Experience with Oracle is expected
Ability to perform Coding Invoices is necessary
Experience in Managing Vendor Relationships is required
Experience in a High Volume Call Center is preferred
Proficiency in Inbox Management is expected
