Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technician

Schedule: 2 Full-Time Employees (FTEs); 5-day work schedule with on-call rotations during weekends and weekdays.

As a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technician, you will be assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to the heart and blood vessels. You will operate imaging systems, assist proceduralists, and ensure patient safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with coronary and peripheral interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stenting.
• Operate fluoroscopic and diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Manage contrast media injections and assist with post-procedure groin care.
• Document all patient data accurately in the EMR and PACS.
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique during all procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as an interventional radiology technician.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopic equipment and radiographic techniques.
• Valid NJ radiographic licensure and ARRT certification.
• BLS certification from an AHA or accredited provider.
