SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a mechanically inclined Customer Support Representative to work for a manufacturer in Oneida, NY. Our client is looking for someone who can work with new and existing customers and provide quotes, BOMs by utilizing blueprints and responding to customer needs.
In addition, your role would involve offering assistance, addressing customer inquiries by leveraging your product expertise, and recording all customer data. Responsibilities:
- Answer between 5-10 phone calls and respond to 20-30+ emails per day
- Prepare quotes to customers on products that meet their needs
- Create BOMs and documents to be used to create parts
- Enter orders in the system along with important customer information
- Support the sales department, engineering, and operations team by utilizing good organizational skills

Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of any manufacturing experience is required
- 3-5+ years of customer service, sales, restaurant, etc. experience is preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Be mechanically inclined
- Work well independently
