Accounting Clerk

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in NEW YORK, New York, United States. In this role, you will be part of our wholesale team, focusing on a range of accounting and administrative tasks. You will be expected to handle invoice processing, purchase order matching, and price verification, among other duties.

• Accurately process invoices and match them with the corresponding purchase orders.
• Verify the pricing details on the invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Learn and apply invoice coding processes.
• Match wire transfer confirmations with backup documentation.
• Utilize Great Plains Solomon, Sage Accounting Software, and Excel for various tasks.
• Print invoices and match them with the relevant approvals.
• Keep track of invoice approvals and handle invoice entries.
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records. • Entry-level position; no prior experience required, although any relevant experience will be beneficial
• Ability to code invoices accurately
• Proficiency in entering invoices in a detailed and timely manner
• Capability to effectively handle invoice approvals
• Experience or willingness to learn invoice entry procedures
• Familiarity with handling purchase orders
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about wire transfer processes
• Proficiency in using Great Plains Solomon software, or the ability to learn quickly
• Experience with Sage Accounting Software, or the ability to learn quickly
