We are in the Infrastructure industry, located hybrid in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role offers a long term part-time contract employment opportunity. You will be a vital part of our accounting team, with a focus on managing vendor accounts, processing applications, and resolving inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
- Maintain precise records of customer credit
- Resolve vendor and employee inquiries promptly
- Review and analyze data for invoice accuracy
- Ensure proper accrual of sales and use tax for complex taxing locations
- Electronically route invoices for approval to appropriate parties
- Scan invoices not received electronically into the automation system
- Review vendor statements regularly
- Take appropriate action on customer accounts as needed.
- Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for this role
- Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required
- Experience with Concur is a must
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
- Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently
- Skills in Accounts Payable (AP) are needed
- Understanding of Accrual Accounting is important
- Experience in Auditing is required
- Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) is necessary
- Ability to Code Invoices efficiently is crucial
