Job Description : As a Customer Service Representative; the associate has to handle inbound calls within guidelines/goals established by the client and management. This position requires excellent communication skills; an enthusiastic approach to customer interactions; the ability to effectively handle information requests, compliments and complaints with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Responsibilities:
- Receive requests from 3rd party/customers entities through calls and provide responses with the required documents to the requestor via call/mail/email/fax.
- Provide responses to insurance policy-related questions
- Make outbound calls (if required) to confirm policy-level / coverage-level changes
- Submit changes on existing policies
- Set up a reminder and follow up with customer on timely manner
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required
Property & Casualty Insurance License
Face to face interview- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to comfortably sit for long periods of time
- Attention to details
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and de-escalate tense situations
- Previous customer service experience
