We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Instructional Designer. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in a fully remote setting. As a Senir Instructional Designer, you will be instrumental in updating existing and designing new onboarding modules for our sales associates.

You will also be expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, potentially shadowing field associates, and create content including video e-learning and job aids.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to understand the content and create effective onboarding modules.
  • Utilize your visual design skills to create engaging content for our sales associates.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the design and development process.
  • Use the Microsoft Office Suite and video editing tools to create and edit content.
  • Write scripts and create storyboards for instructional videos and e-learning modules.
  • Handle project management duties, ensuring timely delivery of all instructional materials.
  • Utilize your communication skills to effectively liaise with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply your knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Articulate Rise in the creation of instructional materials.
  • Create job aids that provide clear and concise instructions for our associates.
  • Monitor and update customer credit records and applications.
  • Proven experience in Instructional Design or relevant role.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience with e-Learning Modules and Storyboarding.
  • Familiarity with Video Production and Video Editing.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Knowledge of Financial Notes and Onboarding processes.
  • Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of the content.
  • Experience in creating training materials and modules for Sales teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Articulate Rise, Module, and Job Aid.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong visual design skills with the ability to graphically represent complex ideas.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
