Staff Accountant - Castle Hayne
Robert Half's client is a small, family-run business and is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and efficient Office Administrator/Accounting Assistant to be a part of their team. This dual-role position offers an opportunity to take on both administrative and basic accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Processing payroll in a timely manner
Preparing invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents.
Assisting with other light accounting tasks as needed
Handling administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
Organizing meetings and arranging appointments
Covering the reception desk when required
Maintaining computer and manual filing systems
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in an office administration or accounting role
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Solid problem-solving skills
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
