Front of House Manager - Tide to Table

Overview:

As a FOH Manager, you will assist in all aspects of restaurant operations, including overseeing service, supporting events, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. You'll be key in training staff, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring smooth, efficient service while helping manage budgets and inventory.

Our managers are instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our restaurant. They provide invaluable support to our staff during service hours and bolster our management team with their adept decision-making and strategic planning abilities.

  • Front of House Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in overseeing all restaurant operations, special events and other related activities
  • Promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues
  • Training, coaching, and enforcing corrective action to all restaurant associates
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and conduct in accordance with appropriate regulations
  • Ensure proper communication within the restaurant by conducting and participating in regular meetings with all team members
  • Recruit new hires, training, coaching, and counseling team members, following company, state, and federal regulations
  • Assist in managing finances of the restaurant, including budget and inventory controls
  • Responsible for communicating with upcoming groups to organize all on-site functions
  • Other duties as assigned
  • What are we looking for?
  • Flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts
  • 5 years in a previous restaurant management or supervisory position
  • Bartending experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in both Front-of-House & Back-of-House restaurant operations
  • Proficiency with computers and general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
  • ServSafe Certified is a plus, but not required
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
