We are currently in search of an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition out of our Burtonsville, MD corporate office. The Director of Talent Acquisition role is held by someone who is responsible for developing and executing the company’s talent acquisition strategy to ensure we are constantly attracting and retaining the top talent in their field.This role requires a combination of strong technical recruitment experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to play a strong hands-on role in executing recruitment efforts. Overall, the Director of Talent Acquisition plays a vital role in the growth and success of a company by ensuring the acquisition of highly skilled employees.
Responsibilities:
- This is a hybrid position: 3 days per week in office/field, 2 days per week remote
- Developing and implementing strategic hiring plans in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, which often includes job board/aggregator site partnerships, ATS development, mapping, and improvements, recruitment methodology, recruitment funnel, hire ratios, etc.
- Leading and overseeing the recruitment and hiring processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection
- Ensure our talent strategies are competitive within the marketplace by conducting regular benchmarking and staying up to date on rends, salary surveys and best practices
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent acquisition, retention and other relevant HR metrics
- Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent strategies, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure a continuous improvement approach
- Present regular reports to leadership providing insights and recommendations to drive talent related decisions
- Work closely with management and executive teams to understand the company’s hiring needs and business objectives, and to create a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with these goals
- Creating and managing the recruitment budget
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external recruitment agencies and other relevant organizations
- Working with human resources staff to manage employee onboarding processes
- Managing a team of recruiters and providing them with training and guidance as necessary
- In charge of specific selection of requisitions for corporate + leadership positions (or at times hard to fill roles), building relationships with potential candidates, managing talent pipelines, and developing employer branding initiatives to make the company an attractive place to work
- Play a crucial role in improving the candidate experience, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring process, and measuring and reporting on recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of the talent acquisition strategy
- Establish and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition initiatives
- Foster a collaborative and strategic partnership between the talent acquisition and marketing teams to enhance employer branding and attract top-tier talent
- Develop and execute innovative recruitment marketing strategies to promote the organization as an employer of choice, leveraging both online and offline channels
- Collaborate with marketing professionals to create compelling and targeted content that highlights the company culture, values, and career opportunities
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through all stages of the recruitment process
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market intelligence, and competitive landscape

Qualifications:
Must Haves:
- Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar HR role
- Expert knowledge of sourcing techniques and employment legislation
- Strong understanding of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership and management skills to guide the talent acquisition team and oversee all recruitment processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with potential candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency in using HR technologies and applicant tracking systems to streamline the recruitment process and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional decision-making skills to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and competencies against the job requirements and organizational culture
- High-level strategic thinking and planning abilities to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies that align with the company’s objectives
- Ability to drive performance metrics, KPIs, and strong recruitment funnel
- Proficient analytical skills to measure and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify trends in the job market
- Substantial experience in full-cycle recruiting, strategic planning, and talent management.
- Leadership experience, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to drive organizational change are all critical for success in the role of Director of Talent Acquisition
Preferred:
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field; healthcare staffing experience preferred
- Experience with iCIMS
Travel Requirements:
- 20% for onsite hiring events, onsite clinic visits to build rapport with hiring managers and team members
