Tax Associate

We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Tax group, based in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Prepartation of tax workpapers for special purpose and other investment vehicles.
- Review returns and K-1s prepared by service providers.
- Prepare workpapers supporting 1042, 1099, and NYS LLC filings.
- Government reporting including FBAR and FATCA/CRS.
- Prepare entity tax documents sunch as W-81MY, W-8BEN-E.
- Obtain GIIN and tax ID numbers.
- Prepare check the box elections.
- Support to ASC 740 analysis and preparing responses to investor inquires.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevent experiewnce in general tax, hedge fund or private equity industry
- Bsckground in partnership tax compliance
We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range, however from time to time, it may occur on a case by case basis.
