Job Description:
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic accounting and finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the investment fund. The ideal candidate for this role will have expertise in partnership or investment fund accounting and be ready to contribute to their continued success.If you are a fast learner without direct investment industry experience, they are very willing to train.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial statement preparation and analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
- Prepare and review complex allocations
- Assist in audit and tax-related activities
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain accurate financial records
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience in the investment fund industry or large public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of partnership or investment fund accounting
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
