Lakeshore Family Dentistry is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Fox Point, WI. Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Preparation: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and addressing any questions
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures by sterilizing instruments, suctioning, passing tools, and ensuring an efficient workflow
- X-Ray & Diagnostics: Take and develop radiographic images, pour and trim study casts
- Instrument & Material Handling: Select, mix, and place dental materials as required
- Post-Treatment Care & Education: Provide oral hygiene guidance, plaque control education, and post-procedure care instructions
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Emergency Readiness: Stay prepared by maintaining CPR certification and ensuring emergency supplies are up to date
- Confidentiality & Documentation: Accurately document treatment details while following HIPAA regulations
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment by assisting with various clinical and office tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
β X-ray License (Required)β Experience as a Dental Assistant or Completion of a Formal Dental Assistant Training Program (Required)
β Strong communication and interpersonal skills
β Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
β A team player with a positive, professional attitude
