Accountant (Entry level)

We are working with a progressive media company located in the Doral area of Florida. This company is known for its innovative approach to broadcasting, advertising, and digital media.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented entry level accountant to join our growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
• Handle day-to-day transactional accounting needs of the firm including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Aid in the management of invoice processing and expense reporting.
• Participate in the preparation of periodic forecasts and annual budgeting processes.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Support with administrative functions and special projects as needed.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory.
• High proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidate should be open to learning under experienced leaders and must have a genuine interest in the media industry.
