Sr. Tax Accountant

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Tax Accountant in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the Printing/Publishing industry. The individual will be instrumental in managing federal and state taxes across multiple states and will be expected to proficiently utilize SAP Business One.
This role reports to an international team and will be a key contributor in a team of 14 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tax compliance for federal and state taxes across 8 states
- Utilize SAP Business One and other financial software to perform accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and audit requirements
- Oversee capital management and cash activity within the team
- Report to an international team based in the Netherlands
- Work with a team of 14 employees, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration
- Use Bloomberg Terminal and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for efficient task execution
- Regularly monitor and update business systems for accuracy and efficiency
- Actively participate in the auditing process, ensuring all financial documents and processes comply with regulations
- Effectively manage accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. • Candidate must have proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal
- Experience in managing Business systems is essential
- Previous work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required
- Familiarity with different Financial software is necessary
- Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is expected
- Experience in Auditing is needed
- Knowledge in Capital Management is crucial
- Experience in handling Cash Activity is desired
- Compliance with financial regulations and standards is mandatory
- Demonstrable experience in the Printing/Publishing industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is expected
- CPA certification or equivalent is desirable
- Minimum five years of experience in a similar role is required
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail is necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure are expected
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments is desired.
