Position:
The Workday HCM Administrator will lead our Workday implementation and will be the primary administrator of the Human Capital Management system on an ongoing basis. This position will play a vital role in supporting the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday HCM system, ensuring the system is up-to-date and meets the ongoing needs of the organization and its employees.The Workday HCM Administrator will also be responsible for supporting all HCM-related integrations ensuring a seamless data flow and process automation. This role will organize, implement, and lead Workday specific solutions and projects from a technical perspective, and will partner closely with Rockefeller Capital Management’s Human Capital team on business process management.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Workday HCM system, including user access, security roles, tenant configuration, and support for integrations.
- Partner with the Human Capital team to configure, update, and maintain business processes, including identifying opportunities for process improvements and clearly communicating all related impacts to proposed business process changes.
- Configure and update Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Absence Management in collaboration with the Human Capital team.
- Configure and implement custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain both inbound and outbound integrations between Workday HCM and other systems, including using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and Azure services.
- Stay current with Workday updates and new HCM features.
- Maintain the Workday HCM application roadmap and support successful feature release updates and enhancements.
- Provide expert level technical application support by troubleshooting, resolving, and/or escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in system administration and HR processes
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Workday HCM system administrator
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Workday certification preferred
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules and functionality.
- Proven experience as a Workday integration developer.
- Strong proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Report Writer.
- Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory.
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric platform is a plus.
- Familiar with Azure Entra Identity and Access management.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
