Maintenance Electrician Specialist

Overview:

Steinhafels is now hiring for a Maintenance Electrician Specialist. The overall responsibility is performing and/or coordinating skilled maintenance tasks throughout all company-owned properties, including buildings and grounds, specializing in Electrical tasks.

Responsibilities:

Specific Duties:

• Performs routine and advance repairs (electrical, pluming, fire, and HVAC) on utility systems
• Performs either directly, or through subordinates, all preventative maintenance to keep utility systems operating correctly and efficiently
• Trouble shoots systems when problems arise to determine possible causes and identify what repairs are needed
• Orders and maintains an inventory of all needed supplies and equipment at each location
• Performs routine maintenance on landscaping systems, including sprinkler and fountain systems
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Regular lifting up to 50#’s
• Frequent walking and movement and may require climbing stairs
• Working inside and outside in all environments

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work with a variety of maintenance tools and equipment
• Must be self-motivated
• Advanced knowledge in electrical and basic to intermediate knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and other general maintenance
• Journeyman Electrician
• Requires good organizational skills

Working Conditions:

• Will work indoors and outdoors under all weather conditions
