Responsibilities

As a quality assurance associate, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and packaging to make sure they meet quality requirements. The job involves the completion of daily QA reports and documentation. 1st shift start time (05:00am)Employee is flexible when it comes to potential OT or weekend needs (uncommon)
FSQA experience is a plus, but not a requirement; willingness to learn new skills is a plus
Skills: good communication skills and bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, Outlook/emails, organization, filing
Assuring materials are received from Aspire Bakeries approved suppliers and conducts rawmaterial supplier performance monitoring based on specifications with oversight by the FSQA
Supervisor.
Conducts internal equipment calibrations as required.
Participates in routine facility program, and corporate audits to ensure site is in compliance. This
includes internal observation audits (HACCP / Food Safety Plan, Food Defense, GMP, Food Safety, etc.) in conjunction with bakery management team.
Participates in daily food sensory scoring evaluations to identify possible defects and providesdirection to the operations team for continuous improvement.
Participates in bakery plant trials and provides FSQA support as directed by FSQA Management.
Participates in bakery traceability exercises and provides FSQA support as directed by FSQAManagement.
